Adele MacRae

Age 96, died peacefully, May 12, 2009 in Chandler, AZ. Born Vendella Wilhelmina Bogren on Jan 11, 1913, in Minneapolis, MN to Isaac M. Bogren of Agnetorp,Sweden and Anna Peterson of Vastaras, Sweden. She lived a long peaceful life. Quite creative she was known for her sewing and needlework. She also dabbled in art, woodworking and photography. She was very active at the arts/crafts center at the Sunbird clubhouse in Chandler, AZ where she had her home. She was first married in Chicago, IL to Ernest Kummetz where she lived and raised her family. Later married to Ray MacRae and spent most of her later years in Naples, Fl. At the end she moved to AZ to be near her son ... and warm weather. She is pre-deceased by her parents and two husbands. She is also pre-deceased by her siblings Esther Bogren, Anna Bliss, Margaret Scanlon and Gustav Bogren and brothers-in-law Rex Cowell, Gordon Winick, Bill Bliss and Bill Scanlon. She leaves her remaining siblings Florence Cowell of CA, Leonard Bogren of Mpls. and his wife Dorothy, and Helen (Bogren Winick) Caston and her husband Homer of CA and Mpls. She also leaves her son Bill Kummetz and wife Arlene of AZ, and daughter Beverly (Kummetz) Cappello and husband Dominick of CT. She also leaves many grandchildren and great – grandchildren: Heidi Kummetz and Tim Gage and their daughter Ellie, Willie Kummetz and Eric Kummetz all of AZ. Wendy (Cappello) Gagnon and husband Rey and their children Brionna, Nick, and Tiffany and Kyler Alling of CT., Brian Cappello and wife Kim (Marsh) and their children Katelyn and Joshua of MA., and Marlo Cappello of CT. She also leaves many nieces and nephews whom she enjoyed following their lives. Much appreciation goes to her son Bill and wife Arlene who took care of her most of her later life. Also, the family appreciates the good care received at the Archstone Care center in Chandler, AZ in her later months. And Pat .. thanks for taking care of her in Sweden. Burial will be at the Oak Hill Cemetery, 5901 Lyndale ave South, Richfield, MN on Thursday May 21st, 2009 at 2:00 pm
